エスプレッソに挑戦したく、ここで人気のあるBAR14を購入し 豆をコーヒーショップにて購入、エスプレッソマシン用に 豆を挽いてもらい早速実践しましたが・・・ 何回挑戦しても全く抽出されない状態（ポタポタ）でした。 デロンギジャパンに問い合わせると（HP上にて） BAR14取説ビデオ＆粉（サンプル）を（無料で）送ると言われ 到着後、早速ビデオを視聴し実践しました。 初心者の自分にはかなり参考になり、何とか成功しました。 結果、コーヒーショップの挽き方が悪いことがわかりました。 今回の場合、駄目な時はメーカーに聞くのが一番だと実感しました。 親切に対応してくれます。

Some comments for English speaking consumers in Japan. I bought this and can recommend it. I had a bigger espresso machine in the UK. It worked differently to this one so I had trouble using this one at first. I complained and delonghi sent me a homemade video on DVDR showing how to use it. The instructions were totally different to the written manual, but when I followed them I could make perfect coffee. You need to fill the coffee filter to the very very top after tamping, and you need to really haul the lever as far to the right as possible. In the manual it says the opposite. Advantages: 1) Very small 2) Makes perfect coffee 3) Cheap Disadvantages: 1) Complicated interface (many switches etc. My old machine just had 'coffee' and 'steam' buttons which makes much more sense'. I wouldnt trust a child to use this machine as it is very easy to suddenly send out dangerous steam from the hot water or steam nozzles. 2) Tiny drain (OK if you only make 1 or 2 coffees at a time). 3) Steam nozzle on/off knob gets very hot on the top, seems dangerous to me somehow, or at least uncomfortable to use. 4) Doesn't look very nice. 5) Manual is full of nonsense. I made half-decent coffee first time I used it, then read the manual and failed every time until the DVD arrived. For me this is a great machine. If you make 4 coffees or more a day for your family etc, then you may be better off getting a bigger one with a bigger drain, auto bean grinder/cleaner etc. For simple one-a-day use this is great.

先日BAR-14を購入して、おいしくｴｽﾌﾟﾚｯｿを頂いていますが、一つ気になる点があります。本体正面にﾌｨﾙﾀﾎﾙﾀﾞｰ位置▼印がありますが、その位置にﾌｨﾙﾀﾎﾙﾀﾞｰが来ないのです(1cm位手前)。機能的に問題ありませんが、ｶｯﾌﾟを二つ並べる時に少し斜めにｾｯﾄしないといけない不便があるのです。どなたか処置方法を教えて下さい。
